It is 29 here in Kapunda, at 1pm. Eat your heart out - ours is Celsius and yours is Fahrenheit. Most of you appear to be having a mental block - snow, ice, and salt are not good! Think sunshine and warmth and enjoy the ride.

The world is not going to finish today, as it is already tomorrow in Australia and New Zealand, and other islands of foreign nations such as Guam and Samoa.

Here too!!!!

We got about 4" last week then a warming trend pretty well melted it all. Now we've gone full circle and they are calling for another 4 - 6" of the white stuff.

Of course I went and washed my car. :x

Once again, it looks like we lucked out here. It was just pretty cold last night, high 20s. No precipitation since all the rain from the storm finally went away after 4 days of wet. It's supposed to be up around 60 this weekend.

It's been mid-30's each morning this week when I've ridden into work, and mid-40's in the evening when I've ridden home. About 25 miles each way - I am loving my Gerbing's heated gear!

We ended up with 11" of snow. Glad I don't have to drive anywhere and that I have an ATV with a snow blade.

Started out this morning sun shining 60 degrees, now raining cats and dogs 45 degrees and wind blowing a little. So much for doing anything outside.

Hockey sticks is correct. He lives in Edmonton, Alberta, in Canada. :) My brother lives up there as well, and he's out plowing snow with his ATV now. He lives out in the middle of nowhere, so he's often waiting for the graders to come by and clear the roads before he can get out anywhere.

I got about 50 miles in today! I can't seem to call the insurance company, isn't that the same as admitting defeat? I figure as long as the salt is off the roads I should be riding.
