now that sandy has left and the cleanup has started i hope everyone along the coast is ok,every year the weather changes and we seem to be getting more and more of natures fury hitting us,im very fortunate that i live in ontario ,no where near either coast but we still get the bad wether more often now ,so my thought are with all that were affected by the storm called sandy

It would seem to me that this storm Sandy could have been much much worse than it was, it was only what a cat. 1, can you imagine if it was a cat. 4 or 5 what would things look like today :shock: , I can see homes being built out of solid concreate in our future :geek: , It can be done but it would cost alot... I would consider this if I lived on the coast line.. Water proof too...Freakin retaining walls around the house with a water tight seal when the gates are closed...8' tall...I'm serious....[list=][/list]

I saw something on the side of the road in some small town a while back, It was a Grain Bend or Silo as we called them made into someones house, someone actually lived there ..Pretty neat... :D
