Diecast gl1800

Postby wayne ian » Sun Nov 25, 2012 6:20 pm

I was at a fleemarket today and there was a really nice diecast model of a 2000 gl1500. I asked if he could get a gl1800 and was told no.Anyone know of a place where I can get one?

Bigger is better in diecast replicas, 1:6 scale.

What colour was the 1500. I'm looking for one. What was the price and the scale.

They are on eBay too.

First off. Thank you both for the great finds. As for the 1500's, one was teal and one was burgundy. They were 1:6 and very nicely detailed. The price however $140.00. Ouch..but tempting.

Normally the 1500 comes out with two coulor , here in europe: candy red and black
I got from a friend of mine the black one very nice and realistic : It has the centre stand and the lateral one too, with the return spring.

Is that a Mini Champs manufactured model?

The GL1500 could be a Guiloy diecast replica.
Mini Champs is the manufacturer.

GWRRA was selling these a while back for $5.00 each. The smaller one. Plastic and diecast.

Guiloy made the 1:6 scale GL1500 and they are hard to get in the USA.
MotorMax makes the 1:6 scale GL1800 and you can only get the red one. It was once a set of three if you got them when the first came out.
New Ray and Maisto are popular with collectors.
I've noticed some brands are popular overseas and not state side.
Franklin Mint also makes some pricey diecast replicas.

Just bought a gold diecast model at Amazon UK, excellent detail. I dare say they will ship to the USA
