Still Riding

Postby Don A » Wed Dec 19, 2012 9:41 pm

Here it is December 19th and I'm still riding. Low 60's here in Southern IL during the day and in the 50's at night. Strange weather we're having but I'm not complaining.

I am glad you are able to ride yet. Here today we had a hi of 34 and tomorrow 8 to 12 inches of blowing snow. That kinda kicks ya in the shorts if ya want to ride.

Sorry Don, don't want to hijack your thread but has anyone tried these cold weather clothing items? I just heard about this stuff and am courious about how well they work.

I dont like to ride in shorts, as they have stopped making scarless skin in my size and shape  . However, with today being around 31C (about 84F), no wind, no rain, no snow, and no ice, I thought I was in heaven so I went for a ride to get some things to send off to my granddaughters.

As for the cold weather gear, who needs them?

The world is not going to finish today, as it is already tomorrow in Australia and New Zealand, and other islands of foreign nations such as Guam and Samoa.

For those still riding you better be having enough fun for those of us that are icebound 8-)

Ride safe, Todd
