Thank you Admin. for having such a site, creating it and maintaining it, I'm sure you spend endless hours fixing stuff so dumbasses like me can come on and write the stupid stuff like I write, I find myself to be lucky I haven't been booted off here yet, you seem to be a favorite target of mine for some reason, don't know why.. But it's all in fun..You're family takes a hit too I'm sure because a lot of the time spent on here fixing stuff and checking on stuff could be spent with them instead...I just wanted to say Thank You sir for a great site, and to all that folks on here that make it worth coming here and reading and learning new stuff...Thanks for teaching me stuff too.. :D

I appreciate it - and yeah, it does take a fair bit of time, and I'm guilty for falling behind now and then - but it's a labor of love!

Hmmm...maybe we should set up a "secret santa gift exchange" system on the site? :)

Yes, Ditto on what Beave and the others have said, Thank You Scott! Now let's all help him try to come up with a logo or family crest type of thing for GoldwingDocs, so we can fly it on a flag and wear it on t-shirts and sweatshirts etc.

Just saying thank you sounds so little compaired to how much you have to do to maintain this site, and all of us know and appreciate it. The secret Santa saga was a hoot, no way could Hollywood write that into a sitcom.I believe it would be nice to come up with a flag/patch symbol that we can use on our vests or fly on our bikes. But of course that costs money so we will have to see how much and decide on a design.

Me too!

A coat of arms for the patch could be a beaver riding a GW, with a visible belt buckle. This would be superimposed on a map of the world, as we seem to have contributors from most of the continents. (No one with a GW in Antarctica yet? - but keep working on it, someone will find a reason to take GW there).

WingAdmin I like your style.

Let me join the chorus - thank you, thank you, thank you :D

2 years ago, when I got my Gold Wing, it needed everything rebuilt and I'd never owned a Gold Wing before. Thanks to your photo heavy, very detailed 'how-to's', I was able to go thru all the systems and get her running very trouble free.

You are appreciated! (I would wear a goldwingdocs.com patch on my GWRRA vest  )

Thanks again-

I would also like to give a big Thank You too. As I had never ridden, or let alone work on a Wing until last year. The How-To articles are perfect, and I am amazed at how far tore down I have gotten my bike for some winter maintenance. My wife asked me if I will remember how it goes all back together, and I told her this Goldwingdocs site will show me how it will all go back together, AND in the right order and everything! So, Kudos to this site, and the great community of Wingers we have here

Let me jump in with my thanks..have learned a lot from all on here. What is funny is sometimes it is something so simple..like put the kill switch back in run, or try turning on the gas...we just get into a brain-lock...other times a complete tear down....step by step.....I havn't worked on a bike in many many years, but because of this site, I am tackling a complete teardown/rebuild of a 75 wing. Also doing repairs on my recently acquired 88 wing. I just couldn't afford mechanics anymore. My standby mechanic closed his shop and went to work for someone else. He said he wasn't making it because he gave away too much labor...All his customers became to close of friends. My other mechanic friend doesn't mind charging me an arm and a leg and I ran out of them already.

So a hats off to you WingAdmin.....and to all that contribute to solving my problems and everyone elses.
