Video Camera

Postby oldnco » Wed Jan 16, 2013 12:21 pm

Am thinking about buying a video camera to mount on my 1500. Wondering for those of you that have them, which you all might recommend. Have been looking at the GoPro models, but know there are others out there.

Also any recommendations/good ideas on mounting locations. Am leaning toward handlebar, but any other ideas/products to mount on would be appreciated greatly.

Appreciate any feedback and recommendations.

Thanx
Bud

Have a look at this topic, there was a fairly decent discussion on this just recently: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=14663

Thanx Wing-I concur with your note. Don't think I can go with that route. Will probably Ram mount it if/when I dive into it.

The go-pro camera is a nice one especially with the wifi option but it is a bit pricy. Check out the post (1500 Action Camera) Sorry I couldn't post the link.

Wilco Wally. I had looked at the GoPro, and I concur w/your price assessment! I will check out the post you referenced. The Canon Powershot A810 that LittleBeaver had on his posting looked like it did a good job also.

Thanx

Not that it affects the OK people, but until recently they couldnt post the cameras overseas because of the lithium batteries that the USA government/postal service banned because they can spontaneously burst into flame. (Probably in contact with something that started a reaction.)

This has now been fixed, and us foreignors (spammers excluded) can now order the camera that was demonstrated by WingAdmin. I will be ordering a couple soon. For $20 each how can you go wrong?

redial,
Can you paste either the webpage with Wingadmin's review or one with the type of vidcam he referred to?

thanx

I didn't really review it, but I did post a link to it here along with a video I took with it:
