Good upholstery shop

Postby Joecop » Fri Jan 18, 2013 5:04 pm

Hi, I'm new to this site but I wanted to share a good guy if your interested in getting your seat done. This guy did my seat, Markland backrest and passenger backrest in two types of vinyl for 200.00. Good honest guy who recently lost a son to cancer and his house as a result. I told him I would be posting his info on this site if anyone is interested. He's been doing this for over 20 years. He said tell them same price but probably a little for the shipping. He did a snowmobile seat for a friend of mine as well. I posted some pics in my gallery because I don't know how to load them here with my phone.

Enter his info into the Vendor database so others can find him if they're looking!

The contours of the seat look good, but, only if it was mine, I would have liked a few more pleats in the seat and backrest parts. This would then make the seat less saggy, especially in the hot weather when the material (vinyl?) would expand.

Now a nice sheep skin to cover that and it would save the extremes of hot and cold, and keep the NewZealanders in business

The world is not going to finish today, as it is already tomorrow in Australia and New Zealand, and other islands of foreign nations such as Guam and Samoa.

Really too soon to tell. I haven't even sat on it yet? It's like -2 here. I'm thinking it will stretch a bit and flatten out on those hot days! I have been told beads are the way to go as far as a cushion?
