Here is pic of her as i got home, $200 with title, my plan of attack

1. Carb soak/cleaning
2. Replace timing belt
3. Check clearances
4. Rebuild brake calipers/new pads
5. New Tires
6. Replace filters/all fluids
7. Get her running/check electrical/tune
8. Tear down, paint, customize
9. Ride the hell out of her!!!

Leave anything out? Anything particular to look at or check on these bikes?

A new seat comes to mind. LOL. Also, servicing the font forks would be a good thing. Welcome to the forum. Looks like a great buy for $200. Keep us informed of how it goes.

Welcome from the U P of Michigan. You have your work cut out for you. But with some TLC that will be a beautiful and dependable ride. Good.luck.

Thanks for the replies, yeah guess I over looked the seat huh?!!! LOL...this is going to be a "as time permits" kind of build...between working on other bikes, getting shop opened, and family duties. I have been working out of my garage but space is getting scarce. But think I'm going to enjoy this one when done. Worked on couple of these and actually liked them after test riding them.

Are you implying that I am "old"? Just because I visit that site from time to time

I walked the dogs before breakfast for an hour, so I dont think I am too decrepid.
