Basically how well it has been maintained.
Like most Wings when were the timing belts changed. I'd certainly change them.
I could tell you what the conversion is if you could post a couple of pics.

Roadsmith is a good kit, and 45k on a trike is basically low miles. Depending on when or if timing belts,if not it sshould be done. But that is all the same for the bike, the trike kits have different options that you may be affected by. Normal maintenance will keep these running for many years.

changing the belts is a given was wondering about things that go wrong on these bikes . I appreciate the input thx just thinking down the rode in years to come balancing a bike might be a little harder . hate to fall over. Around here i get strange looks an comments this time of year riding in cold weather. An i just tell em its no different than riding a snowmobile but i get to ride mine more than them cause we have had such mild winters lately. they just say i'm hard core lol thx again

I bought a 91SE with a sidecar cheap because it would not run, lots of fuel system problems, from a contaminated fuel tank to clogged carbs. Repairing the system turned out to be more work than I expected because it was a California emmissions model, lots more plumbing, evaperative recovery system, and all the rest. I don't think that I would buy another CA model at any price. Just my thoughts, good luck with yours.

Check the frame where the kit attached to the bike. I bought one a few years ago that also had only 40?K miles (don't remember exact) and all seemed well....I was new to trikes and thought the ride feel was strange, but thought it was the way a trike would ride. After about 50 miles, I took it to my mech and told him to check it over real good as I could not understand why it seemed so unstable. Turns out the frame had cracked on both sides where the kit attached to the bike due to stress caused by the kit. He welded it up and deisgned some anti-sway (twisting) for the back end which really helped in the handling. Too bad it got totaled after getting everything fixed on it.
