PMS? I have it!

I see my 1988 Goldwing every time I use my car. It is a real bummer.

Every time I ride I see my motor vehicle looking forlornly at being neglected. Eat your hearts out you northerners, while we enjoy our sunshine, warmth, no salt, no road grit, and no snow or ice.

I think I am just a little bit sorry about giving you a hard time about not being able to ride, but you might live in the beautiful countries, but we live in the lucky country.

Ah yes Redial, but you don't have the adventures my brother-in-law endured on Wednesday night, a 10 hour crossing from Liverpool to Dublin on the Irish Sea in a Force 11 gale. That's got to beat redbacks and brown snakes!

What about the sharks and the crocodiles? They both seem to like a hot dog on a cool day! And at a pinch, they will try the odd human as an entree. Sometimes it is hard to discern the difference between a dolphin and a shark, but we manage, usually.

Not only do we have Brown Snakes, but we also have the Western Taipan, which is No.1 on the "hit parade" of things that can kill. But they usually save themselves for the tourists.

GOT IT BAD! It was festering since putting the Wing away in mid November but recently became full blown. Just finished making all our reservations and ride planning for a mid may trip to the Smokey Mtns. in western NC! We are meeting up with MC friends from all over for a 5 day get together, riding and evening BS sessions. I have been before on my sport bikes but this is a first for me on a Winger and the first visit ever for my wife. Just about 1800 miles round trip plus whatever riding we do once there. As it has been said "The waiting is the hardest part." :!:

Hence why people go south for the winter.....I actually dig the cold weather, but we have November through February of cold, and don't forget the rain until May, ugh!!!

I'm wintered out too! This is the first year I haven't had the bike at home with me over the winter. It's time to move.

I have it real bad. I'm chopping at the bit. I can't wait for winter to be over. I've spent the last 3 1/2 months on the internet looking at bike videos on You Tube, reading forums like this one and buying accessories. I've bought a back rest, a 95 amp alternator, a sealed battery, a set of driving lights, a volt meter, airwings, a lighted trunk spoiler and a new set of Bridgestone tires along with some other goodies. Riding season can't come quick enough. I have 26 years on my job and once I retire, I'm moving to a warm climate. This is killing me. lol

40 is fine riding weather. Layer up and put on the leathers, and smile, smile, smile! It's mid 40's and raining, but I still have 2 foot snow drifts, not to mention the crusty piles made by plows and bucket loaders. I'm hoping to be on the road again by St. Patties day!

We are saving daylights here, and I am religiously filling all the glass jars I can find to save them in. Having set that idea, daylight here is lasting from around 0630 to 2000. I try to feed the chook before she wraps it up for the day, and this is the latest that I can do it. She is on her own since a snake killed her mate, and I saw a young one (about the thickness of a large knitting needle) yesterday at the front door. That is why the dogs dont get off the lead when I take them for a walk in the morning.

BTW, Brown Snakes, when they come out of the egg, have enough venom to kill. The good thing is that the adults fangs are so short, that if you wear jeans, socks, and boots you are unlikely to be damaged. I dont think you can outrun a Brown, unless you are on a good mc. This is the reason I have a mc

I think I would rather deal with a bear or any other critter even the cold rather than a snake, We have garter snakes here and they arn't high on my list

Yes, I agree, and with finishing up the fader control connect today and down to True Value for more screws/washers, fingers crossed and bike should be moving tomorrow.
