Flew NORTH for the Winter - WHAT?

Postby themainviking » Sat Feb 16, 2013 10:34 am

Well, look what flew North for the Winter. Amazing to find these breeds of birds in this area in February, especially the Hummingbird. The Canadian Eagle is a normal occurance, but that American Eagle must be it's mate to be here this early. Real Snow Birds these ones.

Martin, you are one great person, and talented also. My wife immediately claimed the Hummingbird, but said she still has control over where the Eagles fly. Thank you from the bottom of my pea pickin' lil heart, my friend.

Oh, I managed to get some close ups before they left for the rest of the winter.

Todd, there are pictures, so as unbelievable as this eagles and hummingbird in winter seems, it happened.

At first I thought"hey I live up north, nothing wrong with that"but then I read the rest, that was hilarious. Nice work, and now you are the proud owners of some great handiwork. Whenever you look at those birds you will know what kind of special heart went into them.

You got that right. No truer words. That Lil' Beaver really knows how to get to a guy. It almost makes me sorry I partook of the holdout on the buckle donor info - almost - as it was in good fun. These birds, however, are beyond generous, as is the heart of a Beaver.

I sure did miss this post too...My goodness, I don't know how...I wish you're wife well Vikingman...I knew she would love the hummingbird...I love these crafts because they are alive it seems...They actually fly. I'll sit out back and have a cold beer and just watch the one I have out back, I love how the wing holds the body up for a few seconds then it goes back to flying again.... I can't send one to every member but I would love to....There's a guy on here that goes by Cardinal, I promised him a Cardinal, so I will get one out to him soon... Hey we are here one day and gone the next, I wanted to give something back is all.... Hey look at what Wingadmin. does for everyone each month.... and he calls me generous...
