Mail call..............

Postby RoadRogue » Wed Feb 20, 2013 6:41 pm

It was snowing lightly here yesterday when the Post Office dropped off the packages. One was a small pack that I had ordered from the bike wreckers. I ordered up a replacement LH trunk pocket door ( why is it always the LH that goes missing) and a couple of inserts that cover the mounting screws for the bottom of the fairing.

However, the second box had me excited, it was huge. 1.5 cubic feet. I recognized the return address immediately, It came from our friend Little Beaver in Texas. Yippeee............ I opened it up like a kid at Christmas time, I found a box full of Balloons and plastic bags. Inside of one of those bags was the treasure, you guessed it Beave sent me a Canadian eagle, signed by the man himself. I hung it up from the Maple tree in my yard today along with the rest of the flock guarding my bike.

Thank you Martin, thank you very much. I feel honoured to count you as one of my friends. Your generousity is overwhelming.

Mine arrived just the other day as well, also packaged with balloons (very creative!). I've been sick in bed for the last few days, so mine is not hung anywhere yet. But I do have plans.... :)

Thanks so much Martin, your generosity is overflowing this place! :)

You got that right Scott. Martin is making a lot of us cry. From the emotion related to being happy to be his friend, I mean. You rock, Little Beaver. Nice birds Todd.

Oh man I just saw this post,,, you gents are very very welcome...The Canadian one I really like myself...It really does look kinda neato in that photo, I ran out of popcorn for shipping so I thought about using balloons...Is that insane or what  ...It fills the space and cushions the craft and makes it stay where I want it to....I thought maybe the cold air up north might deflate them though... I just hope a balloon didn't pop when you cut the box open...Oppps if it did   ,,,Thata scare ya..but it was not my intention... :D
