Rare Canamerican Eagle Spotted in Alberta!!!

Postby cbx4evr » Mon Mar 04, 2013 1:49 pm

Went to the post office on this bleak Monday morning to find a Parcel Card in my mailbox. Went to the desk to claim my prize. My day immediately got better. Been suffering from an extended case of parked motorcycle syndrome. I'm hoping the eagle brought some warm weather with it from the south.

Martin, I am absolutely speechless. That is one of the nicest things anyone has done for me, basically a stranger. I can't thank you enough and will enjoy this for a long time.

I hope it starts melting some of the white stuff in the background. I won't miss it.

Little Beaver (aka: Martin) is a pretty cool cat too, that guy is..... Lot of San Antonio birds flying north this winter. You are some different sorta feller Martin. You make people happy wherever you go. I am proud to call you a friend.

Are you cutting these out on a band saw??

I don't think my jig saw would be up to the task.

Sir yes Sir.. :D ...I use a band saw, a good one too..when I first started out though I used a jig saw or sabersaw using a finish scroll blade, the claws were a real pain in the buttocks, it was great for the smaller birds then I made enough money to buy a small table top band saw, that made me enough money to buy a really good bandsaw from Sears and I have used that one for years...Stack them and go, stack them and go , chop up that Wood stack them and go...Work, Work, Work, Work and more Work..It never stops...I take alot of coffee breaks to come on here though..They don't call me littlebeaver for nuttin ... I made my first Million a few years ago...  [lie] Hey hey you should see some of the other stuff I have made... Are you guy's tired of me yet, should I go and bother another site ? My wife says I'm annoying... Hummmmm...

Good going Lil Beav, you know it really brightens up someone's day when you take the time to build one of those beautiful eaglesand then it shows up at their home in a care package. I think we will have to call you St.Lil.Beav, giver of happiness. Why not, the world just got a new Pope.

We got a couple of inches of snow today and temp is around 10F. Moved the eagle inside the garage. Too cold for him.
