You and me both....it is supposed to be upper 50s, and I need a new set of chaps (finally replacing the ones I bought 20 years ago, I am just not that waist size anymore, lol).

There is a place above Vancouver, WA called Loves Leathers, a great cycle place for all the add ons that you need.

It was a short ride....to town and back (picking up two small goldwing pieces, some glass baubles for my wife, and vino for the evening), a 60 mile round trip through the backroads (always). Sun was out, sky is blue and the temp was a high of 53 F. And I was able to scale down to a hoodie and a leather vest, along with jeans and chaps, so all good today!!!!!

Awesome Jeff... I live up North from you and Saturday was still pretty cool although I saw a few bikes out. Supposed to be warmer today so if the rain holds off the cover will come off too! Be safe out there.

You lucky@#*^we have freezing rain, icy roads, 8to12 inches wet heavy snow coming between tonight and tomorrow afternoon. Any outside activities will NOT include the trike.

Was out again yesterday, first real freeway voyage for the wing....took it 45 miles down....bought a new set of chaps (really needed it), came back, stopped off at WallyWorld for some things, and home. Oh, the bike was great, worked like a champ, 110 miles round trip. Got some questions I will hit you all up in the 1500 room regarding fuel gauge, but will cover it there.

Today.....rain.

Feel really bad for all you northern Yankees, lol Took a ride yesterday and it was in the lower 70's here in middle Florida, our men's church riders road about 120 miles then had to call it quits.

My daughter and I got on my 85 gl1200 Aspencade and went to spend about 3 hours at Daytona Bike week. Man there were a lot of bikes. Some good and some not so good. It was really nice to spend a day with my daughter. She will be leaving in a few months to be reunited with her husband at Fort Bliss, El Paso, Tx when her husband comes back from Afghanistan. Well, hope all of you up north start riding soon. GOD Bless you all and may He keep you Safe in the seat of your wings.

It was a beautiful 65 degrees in Va., rode with 3 of my friends, 100 miles, rode through the Va. mountains, there was snow on both sides of the road, had to watch the run off on the road, but what a beautiful ride, God is good! your Va. friend, Mike.

Rode the Wing on Friday night, low 50's and by Sunday I snowblowed the driveway 3 X's and broke the darn auger on it. Looks like I will be wrenching on the snowblower waiting for the 60's to come back on Thursday! Gotta Love global warming eh?
No snow till it's supposed to be spring! JEEZ

We've already had days in the 80"s here in Tucson. Then the rain and cold. But back to the mid 70"s today and upward from there. :D However it's no fun when it's 109 or 112 outside in the summer.

Great couple of riding days this weekend, got to do both. But first some minor, or so I thought, electrical work. Got that out of the way and a couple of hours riding-to nowhere. Amazing how you can think of places to go when you have no plans. And there is no such thing as a wasted ride or mile on a bike. The mindset changes dramatically from a cage to two wheels. Taking the long way is required where in a cage, can't wait to get out of the damn thing. Anything on two wheels beats anything on 4. period.
