84 aspy is gone

Postby HALBUDD » Mon Apr 08, 2013 7:41 pm

Well I sold my 1984 aspy on Sunday so now she has a new owner, and I was sad to see her go. But I cant ride all three bikes and she was not being ridden much lately. The new owners will love riding her now and hope she gets ridden more as you all know how our bikes dont like setting in the garage.----------------------Hal

Yea, I sold my 84 Aspy last July...Hated to see it go as I really liked the bike. If it had Reverse, I would have kept it probably forever. I will also be selling the 98Aspy and the 88 I had bought to put trike kit on, but then just bought one. That will get me back down to 3 bikes which is still more than I need. Just have to rid more. Lets see Mon-Tue, ride the CB750...Wed-Thur take out the 75 GL1000, then Fri-Sat ride the 94 Trike...Take a break on Sunday for wash/polish them all....Now that sounds like a pretty good schedule and will keep them all running smooth as silk.

Yea pretty sad but I still have my 85 aspy and my 96 aspy so I now have room to move the lawn tractor out of the way so I can get to my work bench. I guess I might start a bobber project with the 84 parts bike I still have setting in the back of the garage, but thats for another day.----------Hal

I would love a 1500 trike as well, but with the cars I just have no room, I have a show car I have to keep in the garage. I envy you guys. 8-)

You could always either renovate and enlarge your garage, or build a second one.

What about a loft to store the car in, with a couple of removable ramps. Or if you are adventurous, what about putting the trike in the loft with a drawbridge. That would make it easy for you to get in and out.
