+27C here in Alberta. It's an awesome riding day. Hope to get out on the Wing to see my Mom.

I sure hope you guys never find out there are roads that head south! It was so cold where y'all are today, our temps only got into the 80's. Kinda chilly for this time of year.

Yeah, I used to hear that when I lived in New Mexico, but I never saw anybody riding when it was 112 degrees plus. They told me that sometimes in the afternoon from November to about March, they could get out and have a short spin, maybe around three o'clock. I rode all times of the day and night there 365 days a year for three years, and only missed three days waiting for a freak snowstorm to melt off Christmas of 1987. However, as a Canadian, when the job went away, I had to also. I would love to just move to wherever it is warm, but I am not yet willing to stop being Canadian, and other countries don't want people to live there year round without becoming permanent. I could become a snowbird, but from what I hear, them people get robbed a lot, Besides, this year, to have been a snowbird, I would have had to overstay my welcome, or I would still have been back here in May. This has kinda been one of the long ones. I guess I just have to suck it up. Keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down Chief.

I am leaving for California tomorrow (forcast down there is 90+) but supposedly nothing but rain from where I am at down soth to the border of OR/CA. Hmmm, taking the cage so I can do a "1-day"er.

Oh, It was 65 and really cloudy....yesterday I was golfing and it was in the 80s for sure, nice sunburn.....wish I could send some heat northeast to thaw you peeps out. It is almost summer, you know ;)

I recall many a year ago I came out of Fla one day headed back home to Wis.I was driving a Honda 750 air cooled.
We drove with another couple and we made it into Georgia. It was so hot we had to stop driving, so we pulled over to one of those way-sides and sat under a shade tree all day until evening. We drove all night out of that sun,
and into the next day. It was just to hot to drive a cycle period. But I can tell you we sure had fun...

46 degrees and sleet here today. I leave Thursday morning for a whirlwind trip down to Florida and back, I really would prefer not to be riding in sleet and snow!

Good luck on your trip south Scott. If you run into bad weather, just think of that guy that was out there 500 days from Alaska to South America and what he went through. But it looks like the WX will be changing soon to more like summer temperatures, so you should be set to go ....Again Good Luck.

Are you going on the wing? I believe it was 43 this morning in Carrollton Ga. Not a bad ride to work this morning. If I had went further, I would have added more clothes and plug the gerbing in . Yep the gerbing has made me a woosey, but a warm one!

It is even snowing here (England), except when it is raining. So cold.
Portugal on Saturday, hope to goodness that is south enough for some warmth.
