I'll have to keep her!

Post by Randy S » Sun May 19, 2013 7:35 pm

After deciding to keep the old wing last fall and rebuilding the brakes, putting on new tires, updating the taillights to LEDs I made a big mistake. On Monday we went to the Honda dealer in Sioux City and tried a 1200 on for size. My lovely wife of 36 years said "We need one of these". After searching craigslist and showing her the options I liked she picked this one. I called on Tuesday and set up a time to look at it on Saturday (about 100 miles from home). We took a trailer and brought home this 84 Aspencade with 58K miles on it. It included the original owners manual, tool kit, duffel bags, cover, helmets, jackets, and intercom. Helmets and jackets don't fit us and intercom has a bad wire that can't be found but this told me at least two owners took very good care of it. We took for a supper ride last night. I THINK I'LL KEEP HER (the wife and the bike)! I,ll soon be posting an add for a nice 78 1000 with approx 44K miles.
