Brother passed

Post by highmilage » Mon Jul 22, 2013 1:54 pm

I've not been a member of this club for very long and its doubtfull anyone will know who I am. My Brother passed away suddenly on the 2cnd of July,Our family has suffered great loss in the last 5 years, loosing my mother,my sister and now my brother. I'm the only child left of 3,my father is still with us but am afraid not for long,as he's 79 and not in good health. I wish I had more friends to lean on in hard times, but it is what it is. Just wanted everyone to know a fellow rider, brother, father, and a great man in my eyes has passed.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of such a close member of your family and to have had so many lately. You certainly have my thoughts and prayers, and tho we don't know each other believe the pain is much easier when shared by many. I am sure others here feel the same, you are part of a big family when you include all of us.

Granted, it is virtual, but look at all the peeps that came out for this, that is really cool. As we all get older, this parents are mid 70s, I told them they have to just keep kicking, will not allow anything less. Fingers crossed.

And for you HighM....keep your head up does go on, as difficult as it is sometimes. Feel for what you are going through.

We are all brothers here. When one passes we all feel the difference. But, when you remember the good times, and the happy times, and the not-so-happy times, you celebrate his life. Life must go on! You are allowed to be sad, but dont let it eat you up.

I want to thank everyone for the thoughts and prayers,It really means more to me than i'm capable of expressing. In days to come I hope to have the honor of getting to thank personaly everyone who's responded with the kind remarks and sentimants. A thought for everyone's imagination; My Brother while riding his bike very much resembled Santa,a big grey/white beard & hair to match. Just 1 happy memory of many. Again, thanks to all.

I would like to add my condolences. The shock of loss can turn to blessed memories. I hope you and your family find that peace.

Hey Highmilage....Sorry man about your brother,,when I first joined up here I had just lost my oldest brother, I'm the youngest of six and two have passed on already.. People here were very nice to me...I was in a bad way too, see, I got the project bike he was working on and with everyone's help I was able to pick myself up from that sad and very bad place to get back to where I was before, working on my brothers cycle was not easy at first but I got it down to a science....I can make you a promise man, stick around here and you will feel a lot better because a lot of these guys are just like brothers,,Goldwing brothers... :D I feel the most comfortable here too...I'm certain that if you feel down about something these guys can cheer you up...Sometimes I just come on just to get a laugh....there are some really funny stories on here,,,we share personal stuff all the time...Nobodies a stranger on this site...None of us can bring your brother back but we all feel you're pain...Take care sir..
