800 miles from home, pegs too far.

I guess I have a little bitty girlfriend, her feet don't reach the passenger pegs very well. She put up with it for 800 miles but I soon saw that I was going to have to do something. A length of 2X4 and a borrowed skillsaw, some hoseclamps and wood screws. Finish off with some flat black spray paint. When I get home I'll relocate the pegs and do it right, but for now I just wanna get home and do it with a comfortable girlfriend. Improvise.

Well done, Tom. If she aint happy, you can be miserable. Glad you were able to improvise a solution for the time being.

The world is not going to finish today, as it is already tomorrow in Australia and New Zealand, and other islands of foreign nations such as Guam and Samoa.

You gotta do what you gotta do. If mama ain't happy nobodies happy. At least it will get you by until you can get home and find something better. Never know, you might be leaving it that way for a long time. Have a good trip, ride safe.

You could of accomplished the samething by clamping them to her shoes, then she could also experience what it's like being tall  My wife is also short.

Ya, lm sure she will walk around with 2x4s clamped to her shoes. I think the scratches on your paint will show how much she enjoys that.
