I was at Durness a couple of years ago on my GL1100. Loved the place to bits. We ( my wife and I ) just adore the west coast and the central Highlands. Hoping to go back in a couple of years - next year northern France and Germany beckon us.
Good luck with the restoration , you will not regret it. They 4 pot motors are great when running right.
The only silly question is the one you don`t ask. Everything else is game.

Nice etchings - look like good old fashioned Brass Rubbings. Cool effects - well done sire , your serf is wonderous

How cool is that? Well done!

Welcome from Arizona. Those etchings look great!

That is SLICK! I had eagles etched in to my old 89 wing windwings.....they were nice. Thought I would do the same for my 88, need to look at that.

Good job!
