Sad but relieved....

Post by tom84std » Mon Sep 02, 2013 6:53 pm

Being closer to 60 than to 50, this feels a little silly to me. Juvenile, High School.
Little girl and I (she's a Grandmother, not really a little girl) have been getting closer.. and closer for about five months. She dropped a bombshell this morning. She wants to back away and be "friends forever"*.
She wants a man who will study the bible with her, not keep kitty litter boxes in the bathroom AND SHE'S GOT TO HAVE A HARLEY DAVIDSON..... 4000 miles we've ridden together. Through thick and thin in mountains and deserts. Not once has my thirty year old motorcycle so much as BURPED but "it's not a harley."

Damn! I thought we were grown up!

'sOK. I was born single. I have no problem remaining that way.....BUT JILTED OVER WHAT BRAND IT IS???

Looks like I'll have to call that short cute little gal with the huge ti..........she's been asking for a ride on my Honda...

* What guy hasn't heard this?

You will find better, Tom. Unfortunately, she will not.
Good luck.

Tom, you lucky dog! You dodged the bullet on this one. Your "Plan B" sounds good to me.

You could always buy her a model harley, and wave her goodbye. She doesnt sound like the kind of person I would like to hook up with.

Ya, better to move fwd, always moving fwd....never stopping. Either peeps come with you or move in their own direction. Better to find another partner, and were born single, so throw on the helmet and ask the other friend if she wants to go for a ride.....ya never know ;)

Since when do reading the bible and being petty go together? You are well out of it Tom. Take your dignity and run, Forest, run.

I hope she finds someone to read the bible with. She needs some help.

Yep, Tom. Sounds like she has issues. You are much better off without her. It's easy for us to say this, I'm sure, but it is what it is.

One thing I found from experience is that the right person comes along when you are not looking. The harder one looks, the less they find.

Oh Wow  .... Well... if you are just going to be friends then, you could tell her all about the other lady that just loves hangin off the back of your Goldwing now can't you, you could tell her all about how you spent the night with her too if you are just friends.....Here's what's happening.. She is looking around and seeing all of these Harley's everywhere, all new and polished and such, and she wants the same.....If it were me, I'd have to tell her that I have a really good friend that rides a Harley,[tattoed Con] would you like for me to introduce you to him... I mean really, isn't that just what friends do for each other.... Take nothing I just wrote personally, just messing around.. I took this post as a invite to do so..

Tom if it makes you feel any better there are "girls" out there who still like the 30 yr old honda. Take my wife for example, we will be celebrating our 13 anniversary this october by riding from indiana to tennesse and spending a week in the mountains. She love to be on the back of my bike with the wind in her hair and not a care in the world..oh yeah and coincidently she has huge t*@ts also. Lucky me for when I just want to lean back and enjoy the ride. :D

I'd give her a ride to the local "Hardly Ableson" dealership and leave her @ the front door. It's obvious she has a thing for anything that vibrates......Bye,Bye
