Just ain't long enough....

Postby JDMAG » Sun Sep 08, 2013 3:23 pm

My snap ring pliers that is. I am trying to rebuild the front master cylinder on my GL1100 I and cant get to the snap ring. I'm gonna try to borrow a pair tomorrow. Thankfully I'm in no hurry for this.

I use a pair with a right-angle bend at the end. Lets you fit right in there.

Stop looking for snap ring pliers and find a snap ring tool. This is the greatest tool in my cabinet. One handed inside or outside. Made by K-D. You can buy one at your favorite full line parts store or even Sears. Box has tips of different sizes and angles.

Well, there is a lot of that going around. And I hate to be the one to break the news, but today is the best day of the rest of your life. From now on, everything that is supposed be limber is stiff, and everything that is supposed to be stiff is limber. Life is good!
