New to the Forum

Postby RedBear » Tue Oct 01, 2013 11:41 am

I've been a member for a couple years but never posted. Now I'm semi retired and expect to spend a lot more time working on my '02 Wing and enjoying the ride. I hope to get to know some of you on this board . I'm learning a lot and hope to have something to contribute one day soon.

Hi there Redbear,
I live a little further south of Brownsville, and a little further west than San Diego, but I dont let the location worry me about sending in contributions to the Forums. I trust you have entered the Contest (this month the prize is a set of JIS screwdrivers). There are a number of good things on this site, so now that you have more time, exercise those fingers, and enjoy the site.

Thank you for the warm welcome from as far away as Austrailia! I love this wonderful age of technology. Riding has never been more fun with good roads, GPS, safe and reliable bikes and great friendships all over the world. Look forward to learning so much from you guy's and gals.

Hello RedBear and welcome to the website from the U.P. of Michigan. As far as what Virgil says you only have to pay attention to half of it, now which half is up to you. I hope to hear from you often and of course see a few pictures of your ride.

A big welcome from the Amnesty capitol of TX where the mayor welcomes all, especially those who can't speak English. If you ever get up to San Antonio, give me a shout, we can chat awhile. Have driven down your way a few times for the South Padre Bike Fest. It's a long road with nothing to see until you get up near Corpus. Wouldn't want to break down on that road. With Bike fest moved to Corpus, it isn't such a long ride anymore.

I didn't realize Bikefest had moved to Corpus. What is the date for that? I want to get that on my calendar. I've added Wingding and I'm also looking for the dates for Honda Hoot and it's location. Thanks to all of you for the warm welcome.

They sure did, and it is next weekend.

Don't know if I will get to go this year or not. Still fighting some medical issues. But we will see.
