The end of Add-On Accessories

Postby WingAdmin » Thu Oct 03, 2013 3:13 pm

After 28 years, Add-On Accessories, one of the largest aftermarket Goldwing parts manufacturers, is going out of business. The owner wants to retire, and wanted to sell the company. However, firms that find buyers for companies wanted too much money, so he decided to just shut down and call it a day. They are going to start clearing out inventory now, and shut down at the end of the year.

They always had nice stuff and items you couldn't find through other suppliers.
Will miss them for Goldwing items.

I purchased an Add On vertical receiver hitch a couple years ago when I first got my Wing. I am happy with the product, the service and the price. I've never had the occasion to buy anything else. Nothing seems to break on my Wing. Boy, I just know that's gonna come back and bite me in the butt.

Will be sorry to see them go. Has anybody ever bought Addons crash guards?

I just found out that new owners have bought up the tooling, remaining inventory and business of Add-On Accessories, and will be opening it back up for business soon. Two of the original employees will be staying on to help run the new incarnation. It will still be located just outside Boston, but will be moving to a new facility.

That's great news, they managed to have a lot of products for older Wing.
