I'm just a lowly member but I think there are several ways...
Buy from the "store"
Visit the "vendors"
Look at the "ads"
Or best of all, share your expertise and wisdom...even if it's not directly related to the Wing...

I did a home brew nickel plating process I dreamed up to electroplate a old Ruger Mark I....It still has the surface imperfections but there coated with nickel...no more rust on it.

I'm attempting to adapt this method to the bike...

I'm experimenting with electrically dissolving a little bit of nickel welding rod in a vinegar mix in hopes to clean and electroplate the pitting in my exhaust pipes with nickel that currently have spotted rust.....I'm gonna try to remove the rust and plate nickel in the pits to stop further rusting spots.
Oh shure,I could just replace them or have them re-chromed...but what's the fun in that.

There's a lot of things people are good at that can be migrated to motorcycle repair or improvements.

This site is supported almost entirely by ad revenue, from when users click on ads. However I am not allowed to ask you to click on ads - please only do so if the content of the ad interests you. Sales from the store page provide a bit as well.

I'm planning a major server upgrade in the near future, as we have pretty much maxed out the server this site currently lives on.

Sorry bout the weather. We just dodged the bullet here this weekend.
Too bad I have to put in my hours instead of riding.
If I can get the process down easy, ill post about it.
Cleaning the spots with vinegar and crumpled aluminum foil works but it dosen't stop the rust spots.
I'm hoping this spot plating will be the " cure".
