The mind is a terrible thing....

Postby tom84std » Mon Oct 28, 2013 7:31 am

Last night, a girlfriend came to dinner and a sleepover. Sometime during the
night she went for what I assumed was a bathroom visit. After a long time I
went to look for her. I found her sitting on my coffee table Indian style in only
her panties, staring at a three-by-four grid of business cards. The center
column face down and the others face up, eleven were hers and one
someone else`s. I asked her what the hell she was doing and she replied
she was "formulating a plan." I informed her that she was either bats***
crazy or she was sleepwalking. I talked her back to bed for the next few
hours before wake up time. This morning over coffee she remembered
nothing of it.

Possibly something in the dinner? Keep in mind that I don't drink and she wasn't.

Some people are tuned to wavelengths many ignore.
And many people wonder how some people seem to always have an answer, have a sense of direction, or just are "different".

The mind is a powerful thing, and I don't think anyone can explain or understand how it works. You ever walk into some place you have never been before but everything if kind of familiar or you feel like you have been there before :?

After re-reading again I have come to the conclusion that this is just the kind of gal I would love to live with, obviously she does not feel any need to live in the shadow of any man like a squah that will make his meals and chew on his moccasins to keep them supple.

She has a gift I think, and I also think some people are afraid, jealous even and they usually get all snarky because they feel entitled to have what others have that may be better than what they are.

I'd be really concerned about the plan she was formulating. Might be a good thing you woke up. :D ;)

Not many ladies in my age group would be able to sit "Indian style", nor go to bed in this cold with only a pair of panties on...she's a keeper!

I'm the opposite. I would try to get her to remember her plan. It is probably an incredible idea that will benefit both of you. Not only will you help her with a problem that she may not be telling you (so as not to bother you) and you'll be the hero for being attentive to her situation.

and maybe i'm way off the mark, who knows.
Finally bought the same bike that brought me so much joy as a kid from the backseat.
