I'll be riding until I buy a car.

Not looking yet.

Last year it was Jan 26th when I broke down and bought a car. It's now my wife's, we sold hers.

This year I work closer. Might be no need.

Can you 'darkside' a snow tyre??

You just knew that I could not contain myself :D

Last evening, at 5.30pm, it was 36C (about 98F), and as it was so pleasant, I took the 250 I have out for a ride. It was a delightful time, and I look forward to riding some more. Shiver, you Northerners, shiver

Here we go again, Len is torturing us with tales of warm weatherdown under, while we shiver our tails off.
Today it was just above freezing here and snowing very lightly. I love riding this time of year 8-)
Ride safe, Todd

Getting kind of "iffy" here in the Midwest for me. Rode last Saturday about 80 miles. Mid 50's, Sunday was even warmer with low 60's but the wind was 40+MPH...
I am NOT taking my Goldwing out in that kind of wind EVER! :o

Heck, I don't like the temperatures Len mentioned in the middle of the summer. 98 F is too hot for me except in a sauna or an air conditioned car  Enjoy it Len, and remember that heat causes fires.

I also think that 98F is a bit warm, but if you are willing to dodge the flying insects, it can still be a good ride. The weather here is being typical Spring, upto 40+C one day, and then around 19C (about 68F) the next. Still comfortable enough to use up some fuel. The longer days of saving daylights, means it is still comfortable to ride in the late evenings.
