Riders Edge

Postby JDMAG » Sun Nov 03, 2013 6:33 pm

I took the MSF Beginning riders coarse this week end. It was at a HD dealer so it was called the Riders Edge class. I highly recommend this class. I feel more Competent than I did before I took it. Very nice Class with top notch instruction. I get a pass on having to take a test to have the Motor cycle endorsement added to my License, and I get a 25% ?? percent discount on my insurance. :ugeek:

Yup, it's what I had my wife go through as well to get her license, and they taught her quite well.

The next step is the ERC (experienced rider course) that I do every couple of years to keep skills up.

Good for you.....Keep your head and eyes up,and turn your head. Most important, but you know that. Our Oklahoma Highway Patrol and other local cities have a free one day class on advance riding and it is great. At the end of class, they show some optional Motor Officer technical maneuvers that will get your blood going .Type in police motorcycle rodeos and check out some of there skills, amazing.

The MSF courses are great. I got licensed that way when I lived in MD. I really want to look into taking other courses to help stay sharp.
