I've lived in Florida for 30 years before moving back up north and the only bad surprise for me is a hurricane and I've lived through enough of them
. Then there are sink holes which can open up any time.

Do you refer to a "sink hole" as somewhere you can go to sink a few cold ones. We have lots of days where it is warm enough to sink a couple, but not when I am riding. So I go to the sink hole to pick up a "slab", and take them home to relax with. For those weight conscious folks, we have a beer that has no carbs, so in deference to my weight, I try to get those as my favourite. We had some wind the other week, but it blew through reasonably quick, and it is only allowed to rain at night, and no salt is allowed on the roads, and ...... 8-) 8-)

Had to fire up the snow blower day before yesterday had about 4 inches over night, and of course the highway crew plowing the road by our lane way filled our drive way. I don't mind blowing snow, I find it kind of relaxing I just don't like the ski doo suit boots mitts and all the other winter gear. On the bright side only about five weeks until the days start getting longer

A sink hole in Florida is when the limestone shelf looses what is beneath it and the cavern opens up taking whatever is above down.

It was a surprise....I like my Wing til I can kick my Jeep into 4 wheel drive at 3 am to rock the freeways..then like turns to love...The colder it is, the more snow we have, the better the beast likes it.....I envy the Canadians.....I still may make it there though.
