I'm not familiar with the brand of heated gear that you mentioned but my wife and I have used Gerbing gear for years. Its very reliable and well constructed, well worth the money. Many of our friends use Gerbing as well with the same positive experience. I do know a couple of folks that used other brands of heated gear and came to regret it. I can't say anything bad or good about sedici hot wire but I can recommend Gerbing whole hardheartedly.

Gerbing sells by exclusive retail distributors so you would have to find out who retails them locally. Its best to try the items on for size before you buy. Occasionally I see used Gerbing gear for sale on GL1800riders.com.

Several votes for Gerbing heated gear,,,, we have about 15 Goldwings wired for the Gerbing
gear in our group, and we ride all winter. Coldest ride so far this year 19 degrees for 3 hours
Wife's comment,,, "BEBE, I AM TOASTY WARM" We use the gloves then heated jacket and pants
liners,,, for Christmas two sets his and hers of foot insoles to keep those toes warm.

Never heard anything bad about them,,, make sure you have a large enough alternator to carry
the load,,, Compufire works fine even with 2 full sets on.
