I have a 1985 1200 Aspencade and it currently has Dunlop tires on it.
It tracks really bad and was wondering what would be the best tires to
Replace with so as not to track?

Unless they are old and staring to dry rot I would check tire pressure and bearings. The Dunlap tries are usually pretty good. My bike will start tracking, both front and back as soon as you get down around 30 psi. If it is tracking real bad I would check the swing arm bearings

Even worn, cupped and fleathered my E-3's have never had a tracking issue. I have to agree I'd check for things like tire pressure, tire damage, and loose or misaligned. On my GL1800 I run my tires at 39-41 front and 44 psi rear. I'm not sure what standard pressure is for a 1200, but the mentioned 30psi would destroy E-3s on an 1800. Also if you've had your front tire of lately you might check the front axle and forks for alignment, if there is a slight twisted situation before the axle pinch bolts are torqued you'll end up wondering all over. For that matter I'd check the tripple tree and head bearings for play.
