I was always trying to figure out how come the store is only 1 mile from my house. But when I get there my odometer shows 23 miles on it. This explains a lot. haha

The weather here in Minn-e-snow-ta is not conducive with motorcycle riding today, as the temp is -8 and wind-chill at -27. This condition is commonly referred to as P.M.S. - Parked Motorcycle Syndrome. :D

We just had a bad week... -39.5 C or 39 below zero for a few days with wind chills below -50 C - 58 below zero F. I am certainly glad it cracked for a bit. They are having those temps out west again, so I expect we shall also have them in a week or so. Supposed to snow big time in the next 24 hours - in fact the weather dumbasses have issued a winter storm warning. It just keeps getting better and better. I think this is turning out to be the worst winter in quite a few years. Man, ain't this fun. I bet redial is jealous as all get out. The malls have been packed with folks having to get out of their cabins to avoid fever... so it is all good for the economy, especially if you own a coffee and donut shop. Even if people spend nothing else in the mall, when it is packed, the coffee shops are booming.
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey

No, I am not jealous of you Northerners freezing your butts off, with most of you cringing with PMS, and getting cabin fever again. The grapes are coming into season here, so I will peel another while I rest up in the hammock after a long ride.

Does your maintenance plan last until April? There are only so many things you can do to maintain your GW, after that you can look at it. I suppose you are shivering so much, that it feels as though you are riding it, but the scenery must be pretty ordinary. Should I take up a collection for a warm clothing parcel?

Stay warm, and stay cool.

Doesnt everyone? It is better if you can get someone else to do it, just so that you get the full pleasure. It is just like finding a passenger to share the pleasures in life.
