Are you living back in Kansas now?
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey

I feel for those of you up in the "COLD WHITE NORTH. Mid 70's today and went for a nice ride after work. About 150 miles. S.W. Fl. is nice but am thinking of moving up to N.E.Tn. this year. Just below Bristol off I26. Will get me a lot closer to the kids in Akron and I will have roads with curves and hills right out my front door instead of the pool table like landscape we have here.

Today its just around the freezing mark, only about 6 inches of snow. Not good for the Wing but one of these might work well........

Or maybe this one........

I have one of those Oregon weather stations, that transmit the readings from the collectors into a desk unit control station and then into the computer. Yesterday we cracked 51.8, and that is not Fahrenheit. This is day three of five days forecast of 45+, so it is starting to get a bit wearing. A bit too hot to spend too much time outside, unless you have to. I took the dogs for an hour's walk this morning at 0630am, and even then it was about 24C, (about 80F). This is the down side of living in the land of sun and warmth - sometimes you get more than you need, just like what happens in the North with your snow and ice.

We have a Freezing Rain alert the next couple of days up here in Wasilla, Alaska, sub tropical fronts passing through, temps predicted to climb over 40F, fat chance of any possibility of riding as there is around 8 inches of snow on the ground, my gravel road from house to highway is now a seasonal "ice" road of packed and graded snow, its actually far better a road surface in the winter than the summer, no potholes.
I often wonder if I built a custom Goldwing with dual front tires like a Can Am,
