I had the short windbender with the curl on the top edge, don't remember what the model was named, on my GL1500, and I loved it, was great for me as I like to look over the top of the windshield. I got very little buffeting, or bugs in my face. I can't give any information on the passenger. I have a sidecar, and the passenger doesn't ride on the back of the bike. I can add that I never heard any complaints from the bag I strapped to the back seat. Good luck with it. :D

I had one on my 1500, I had no complaints with the way it shaped the air, as a matter of fact it was really good at creating dead air behind the windshield. Sorry I cant tell you about the passenger seat as I ride solo 99% of the time. What I didnt like about the Wind Bender. Was the flip at the top creates an optical distortion that bothered me, even though I could set the windshield down lower(as much as 6 inches lower) than my stock windshield.

If you were closer to me I would say you could borrow the windshield to see if you liked it, unfortunately shipping costs for an item this size out of Canada are way too expensive. 8-)

Ride safe, Todd
