IT IS MARCH 4TH AND 4 DEGREES THIS MORNING,SNOW ON THE GROUND AN D LOOKING FOR SPRING. THIS IS THE FIRST WINTER IN MANY YEARS THAT I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO RIDE THE BIKE A COUPLE OF TIMES DURING THE WINTER,EVEN SPRING RIDING MAY BE DELAYED BECAUSE OF ALL THE SALT AND SAND ON THE ROADS.

This is why I am glad that I live in Florida. The weather has been great and I can ride every day. Only ones that I don't are when it is raining when I start. Have been wet several times but I haven't melted yet. Hang in there guys, summers on its way. 64 degrees and I have to go to Ocala today. Guess I'll have to take the bike 8-) :geek:

Our normal temp in early March is around 60º. It has been 3 to 5 the last couple of nights. I should be planting potatoes. Bah humbug!

Agreed, here it's 76 today in the 80's rest of the week (going camping tomorrow in Tucson for the first time in our new camper)
I sure don't miss living in Wisconsin! Too cold anymore for this old dog!

4" of snow on top of 1/4" of ice from yesterday. 0 deg. here at 4:00 am this morning. Longest, coldest, snowiest, freezing rainiest, sleetiest (is that a word?) winter since I moved up here from Georgia in 1971. Depressing, if it weren't for the evenings working on the new (2 us) '93. Added the hookups for the Voyager last nite. Tonite, oil change and a fresh air filter. This w/e, new timing belts. Soooooo ready for spring.

19 degrees right now in Northern Indiana, should be out in the shop working on the wing but just can't commit myself to trying to work with numb fingers. I am so done with winter................. come on already with at least spring time. Hopefully after this week we should be turning the corner on winter and heading into spring weather. See you all on the road when the weather breaks, be safe on the road.

I feel for those of you up north. The A.C. has been on for the past week and I have been riding everyday except when it's raining. Love S.W. Fl. in the winter. We did not even get a frost where I live. Rode to Plant City last weekend for the STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL. For those of you not famililar with the area It is on I 4 and they grow great berries there.

I have been able to ride all winter in Memphis area with very few days I could not ride because of weather. But now I have two days where I cannot ride because of ice on the road and I will not be able to ride tomorrow either. This is after reaching temps of 77 degrees on Saturday. :x

16 degrees here in northern New Jersey this morning.
Still have snow and ice piled up four or five feet high around the place.
This is the WORST winter I remember in many years.
Two years ago at this time I was out riding full time. Spring came
early that year.

It was 19 when I got up this morning at 5am and at 5pm it reached a high of 37. Still lots of patches of snow in yards and sides of road but some melting going on. Probably freeze hard again tonight, but I heard that could be high 40's during the weekend. My bike is in the trailer and still snow piled up where the door lowers down so that keeps me from doing something stupid. Tight quarters in the trailer but about enough room to do the Air filters and plugs if it warms a bit. Poor birds been twittering about all week probably thinking WTF. Sure sign of spring coming though, even have a nesting bird in the tree off the deck! Sure hope we all remember how cold it was when this summer starts baking our butts in the saddle! I am so ready for some warm weather.
