Come on guys, more videos

Postby maestro319 » Wed Mar 05, 2014 3:01 pm

I just finished shoveling my driveway AGAIN!!! It is March 5th with no end to winter in sight here in northern Illinois. So,...come all you riders south of I-80, how about posting some riding videos so I ( and the rest of those who live in the frozen tundra) can at least ride vicariously through your videos. Phil?? Phil Griggs?? Where are you?

Ill do what I can.Even here in Louisiana,we just finished with a ice event that shut down most of the highways and bridges.
I won't have riding weather till this weekend. If you can believe the weather man.
Do you want any sound effects or just wind noise.?. :D

Background music would be great, but at this point I'll take anything, even wind noise. :D

O.K. here a video from Feb 22/23. A few friends rode to Yuma Az. via the US/Mexico boarder.

I didn't shoot the video, I was riding the blue 85 Aspencade. All I know is that it's a GoPro mounted to the right side mirror mount on a '13 FJR1300. Hope you enjoyed the WIND effects.

Great video. As for the sound effects, that bike whines worse than a Gold Wing.

If interested here is my riding buddy's You Tube page. Three of us started out 7 years a go renting HD's and taking trips. Since then, one bought an HD and the other two of us bought a 2009 Wing and a 2012 Wing. We started out taking stills and digital video. Over time we have upgraded our camera equipment because our upgraded TV sets made our older films look weak. My one riding buddy is pretty good at editing and has taken our trips to Blu Ray level producing one hour movies.

Here you go,

(I had to drop the www because the link would disappear for some reason)

Thanks, Al Waters

We took a little trip down to the Hill Country of Texas (from Northwest Louisiana) back in the middle of April. Hope this works.

At the 3:51 point, you see that I managed to do a little adjustment to the armadillo population of the area, and at the 4:13 mark a nice deer decided to cross the road in front of me. Fortunately not close, though.
