Scorpion Batteries

Postby seelyark1 » Tue Mar 25, 2014 9:34 am

Has anyone here tried Scorpion batteries in their bike? What were your thoughts on quality of them? One of my bikes has allways been a slow cranker. Not the wing, and scorpion has a higher CCA than most batteries available locally. Wondering if I want to try them out. Thanks, Dave

I have not used them, but have a look at this site for a discussion on some of the LiFePo batteries. Read a long way down for some interesting comments from a battery seller.

The above URL is not a GW site, so you will get a lot of funny abbreviations :D

If you were referring to post #627, Yes, very interesting. Think I will stick with my normal lead acid batterys.
Now on the fun side, is it true that "Down Under"' the wheels are on top? LOL :?
Thanks for the reply.

From my point of view, everything up North is upside down! When you fly to the USA, the plane has to do a roll of 180degrees, so that it lands the correct way. They have got it down to a fine art these days, and that is because they practice it so much. Have you ever gone to an Air Show, and not seen the planes do a Barrel Roll?

LOL Always wanted to ask that question... Wanted to go to Australia on R&R when I was in Viet Nam but they changed the rules and I never had another chance. Maybe some day when I get older. 69 today, time will tell.

After laughing through your Down under pilot story on just for laughs, I had to copy and paste it to several pilot friends. That will make the rounds with all the pilots in the area. Thats a good story!
