How do I post a video?

Postby Wilcoy02 » Wed Apr 02, 2014 5:30 pm

I just rec'd a can camera. While looking through this site I noticed everyone wants videos. I am currently changing out my forks on my ride.

IF someone could do a:

How to "post a detailed video instructions". Starting from what to do to get the video off the camera, setting up a utube ac't( if that is needed),what you need to do there, to a final version posted on this forum.

I would be willing to give it a shot of posting some videos
on here. I would assume others might also if we knew how to do it.

I am very computer illiterate so don't leave out any steps.

Hopefully someone will give this info.

Thank you

I am too Wilcoy,,, I'm still learning stuff,,, I got set up on youtube with help from my daughter, I learned how to place videos in a file my wife set up and I have photo's in other files,,, I use a camera with a memory chip 4 gb chip is what I have in it... I also have a cord that plugs directly into the computer from the camera, I suggest getting that... I have a set up where when you download the videos it can be placed in the video file.. instructions tell you.. I had help to set it up...Once you have a video in storage go and get on youtube,,, hit the upload and it will send you to your documents and then you should see a file you placed there...find the video click on the video and let it download it. [takes a while]...once it's on youtube you play the video there and go to the top where you will see the address. right click on the address, and hit copy then come here and then find where you want to place it,, now hit right click again and hit paste this time.. bam the video should be here..... Best I can do man... Oh, once you have your video at youtube,, add stuff to the video using instructions there, like adding sentences and music and such..

Going straight to posting videos is tough,, start slow,,, here take this test wilcoy.... On this post ok... go to lets say ..... ebay... ok find a part for the 1100 Goldwing , any part will do,, click on that part and open the page right...Now go to the top of the page you will see the address at the top, right click and copy then
come back here on this post.. right click again and hit paste, it should show up here...Try this first.. this is how you learn how to post stuff..Now photo's is different but start here first...Forgive me if you know this already...You are after videos I think..
