From Mellow Yellow to Big Blue
First pics of the transformation from Mellow Yellow to Big Blue following a 2 month strip down.
Still have a few bits to finish.
Yesterday I added a second 5 pin plug and socket to the tow hitch so I can wire up the front indicators on the trailer to work the same as the front mirror indicators, also fitted reversing lights to match the trike. Today I am wiring up LED's behind the diamond shaped amber lenses that cover the running board bolts so they will work the same. Also wiring up an isolated power supply and shunt for the ammeter.
Pics are not that good

That looks GREAT!!! Bet that set you back a few Euros.

It was a mammoth task, and it did cost a few quid. There were so many parts, it did not look all that much until it I stripped it down and dismantled all the body panels. I had to buy plastic organisers to catalogue all the nuts, bolts, and screws . It looked worse than in the during pic, at one point I had it on 3 axle stands with all the wheels off.cbx4evr wrote:That looks GREAT!!! Bet that set you back a few Euros.

AWESOME!! I always thought I'd like the Yellow, but I think the blue is great! And I love the murals! Great job!
I’d rather be Riding my Motorcycle thinking about God

Added a front panel mural to Big Blue, so much for 'that's it finished' LOL.

I wish I had that kind of talent. I could paint mine blue but I'd get runs in the Rustoleum. The "finishing touches" would have to come from a truck drivers mudflaps.
