Flat track raceing is back at the darke county fairgrounds in greenville ohio, went Friday night and it was amazing. They had 16 different classes including the big boys, national number 1 was there, they had vintage races and over 60 class, saw some guys raceing I have not seen in years. Met a guy that is 70 years old we talked for awhile and we found out we both had a lot of friends in the raceing world.then he ask me my age I told him 68 and he said you want a ride, wow, I was so tempted but had my knees replaced several years ago and do not know how that would work. Well now they are doing it again today cannot wait old flat trackers never die, they just want to keep rideing.

Is this going to be a steady thing? If so, I guess a trip to Ohio is in my immediate future! Years ago they ran a weekly series in Niagara Falls that was exciting, but the promoter was way underfunded to start, and soon folded. It was too bad, because flat trackers are great entertainment and good racing.
