Postby moneypit » Wed Jul 30, 2014 6:09 pm

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Dan my wife is Kim and we live in Grand Haven Mi. Better known as Coast Guard City USA. This is my 1st wing and I like it. I didn't know if I would so I didn't invest a lot. I found a 1983 with 80k on it. it looks good its black rides good motor is a bit week but wth just thought I would ride a wing for a while. Now that I like it I could see myself on sumpin newer. My wife and I enjoy riding up the lake Michigan coast line. We haven't been across the mighty Mac yet but we plan on it . Being a Newby to the Wing World I have a lot to learn. I have always ridden Hondas, just fast bikes not touring what a difference .

Welcome, Dansarchery in CoastGuardCity, now that you have got the taste, I am sure that you will enjoy your "better" ride - well, at least your Kim will enjoy it more.

Have fun, and even dumb questions are easier to fix than dumb mistakes, so ask, if you have questions. They are a helpful bunch of GoldWingers here.

The world is not going to finish today, as it is already tomorrow in Australia and New Zealand, and other islands of foreign nations such as Guam and Samoa.

Where is the "tar and feather"in??? Welcome in and glad you started your touring side of life. Once you tour, hard to go back. Yes, I like riding the lighter bikes, but nothing matches flying down the highway with the wing pushing through the wind.

Enjoy! And don't be shy here, ask questions, participate, etc., etc., etc. Ya know the drill ;)
