Just a heads up. Earlier i had looked to solve some issues I was having with my 1980 Goldwing GL1100. I was in the process of having it rehabbed. It was bogging down under load. Ran great in neutral. The problem was resolved replacing the CDI unit (which is no longer made ) and the Pulsar Unit. Both were found through the internet and I don't know if this is a problem but everything was located at Rick's Motorcycles in Plaistow N.H. The bike runs like new.

Glad to hear you got it right. By any chance do you have the wiring diagram for the fairing harness? Mine is also a 1980 and I'm having issues getting the lights in the fairing to work.

2011 Kawasaki Nomad
Needed a whole new motor for my 1981 gl1100Iand Rick's is about 250 miles away from me. Picked it up in December and put it in. Works excellent and the guys there were great. If you can get there I would give them the thumbs up. Ride Safe!!
