I recon it beats the heck out of riding over a skunk.

I don't know if you have skunks in The UK, but they produce a GAWD-awful smell from their posterior when you whack one with any kind of motor vehicle or when they're upset...

I will say that's the first I've ever heard of christening a motorbike with perfume...
I am wrong as often as I am right concerning what is wrong with someone else' motorcycle without having seen the machine in person. Guessing with limited information, as to the source of the trouble, is sketchy at best.

Some of my friends must be skunks.

My wife's fave aroma is lavender......if I started finding lavender coming from my bike, I would say "You just bought yourself a bike, and you now owe me one", lol.

I take it you didn't make it to visit the family. You went home and washed the Bike. She was just trying to help out. What a good Wife! LOL!

WOW... that is all there is to say. Okay, you said better half, not wife. If not married now, perhaps should think real hard, LMAO...
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey

Too funny, NOT! My wife would never touch my baby without asking first! She knows how I feel about my bike!
I’d rather be Riding my Motorcycle thinking about God
Than sitting in church thinking about my Motorcycle

No skunks in the UK. I remember the first time I had a visitor from the UK here who smelled one... "WHAT IS THAT SMELL!?!?" :)
