Hello All !

Postby sofbgonwing » Mon Dec 01, 2014 4:43 pm

Just a quick note from the frozen North (Nova Scotia ) to say hi and thank you for the many tips and help found on this forum.
We were looking forward to getting our new to us wing (2005 GL1800A). We moved on from our VTX 1800R , put over 50,000 mi on her and still going strong. A great bike but doesn't hold a candle to the wing in about every respect. Really nice to see how helpful everyone is and I'm looking forward to adding my own spin on things as I get more familiar with the bike.
Thanks
Sofbgonwing

Congrats on getting a wing,

If I can give one real good tip, watch a video on how to pick it up by yourself correctly. I never thought I would need that info, but first trip with wife and a parking garage proved me wrong.

Hello from the state of Georgia. Hope the weather is fine there. We had a whopping 74 here today and I was on the cycle.

I second the welcome. This is a great site for wing owners, or really for anyone.

A warm welcome from the Deep Deep South, where the sun is shining, the weather is warm, and we can ride all year round. I have to get some chook (aka chickens) food today, so I have to take a four-wheeled device to load up the pellets and wheat. They will be set then for the Christmas, and those fresh, free-range eggs just keep on coming.

Chooks are like motorcycles, look after them, and they will look after you!

The world is not going to finish today, as it is already tomorrow in Australia and New Zealand, and other islands of foreign nations such as Guam and Samoa.
