About how much more would a 1992 1500 SE be worth if one adds a trailer hitch (all wired up & properly mounted) to it?
Thank you

About three fifths of five eights of nothing! Add ons, no matter how good or bad they may be, should not add to the price, but they may add 'appeal-ability' to the GW. This is all part of the assessment of the GW, but you are looking at the performance of the GW, not how good it looks. Because a seller has 'invested' hours and dollars into a never ending bucket, does not mean that they are going to get a fist full of dollars back on their 'investment'. Find your Blue Book (or whatever 2nd hand guide), and find the value of the GW there, and that should be the end-price.

You would be better off removing it and selling it separately. Otherwise you end up giving it away. That goes for most add on bling also.

I agree with what was said above and would like to add that personally I'd pay more for a Wing that never ever had a hitch on it.It's actually one of the things I look at when buying used Wings. It's harder on the bike pulling a trailer even if it isn't over loaded(which I'm sure a lot of them are).
If I'da known it would last this long,I'da taken better care of it.

Double-Ding:
The whole frame of the hitch is noticeably bent. Maybe (with some elbow grease) I can take the ball off, but I don't really wanna take any off as I was offered 800 for the bike.

It was wrecked, so that's the salvage value.dingdong wrote:What am I missing here? $800 for a 1500?
