Sorry, only 8000 miles, but thats only last year! more to come, if this stupid winter will ever end. #$%^&&&** winter!
 I know people say we spend too much money on our rides, but I can't hear them when I'm 1000 miles away!

I picked up my 88' gl1500 the end of last July. It had 143k, I added 2500 more. It hasn't been above freezing for weeks. I need to change timing belts and balance the carbs. I can't wait to ride!

I bought my 1980 on 12-2-13 for $400.00 with 152xxx miles-it was a awful neglected mess-repaired it from crankshaft bearings out, and everything this side of that with Gods help, and the help of this site, I ran about 2000 miles with the speedo unhooked, greased it, hooked it back up, now showing 155xxx, running great, 42mpg, I figured if I was going to work on a bike, it should be the best ever made, and last me the rest of my life, or til "the great devide".
My exercise bike is a goldwing.

I bought my 94A new in April '95 and now have 172,000 miles on him and he keeps on ticking.. Got a coast-to-coast ride coming up in May (Run For The Wall... Google it. Great ride for a great cause), which will add another 5-6,000. Now that I live here in AZ as opposed to being socked in every winter back in Michigan, I like being able to ride year 'round. Sorry, Guys. ;)

And to Solina Dave: Nice bike, and nice Krausers! Keep an eye on them.. they're worth their weight in premium no-lead.

Thanks for the compliment Ron. I installed a set of Krausers in May of 1978, got rear ended around the beginning of August, and the bags and top case were destroyed along with a few other things. I had it all repaired and new Krausers installed by the third week in August, and took a five week ride to California and back. Great times! Those are the same Krauser bags and top case that I installed, as of June 2011. I treat them very well, believe me.
Arizona is sounding better and better every stinkin' winter! You and me are within a year of each other. What can I say? "I'm jealous!" Have a great ride in May, and be safe.

My 20th Anniversary GL1500A has 107K kilometres on it and my 30th Anniversary GL1800 has only 21K kilometres as I bought it 6 years old with only 5K on it. I have three bikes so knocking up the miles/kilometres is pretty steady.

Are you getting the 40th anniversary to? Ya gotta keep your trend going.... :D I just added 107 miles yesterday. Had to check out the new tires and breaks. Was such a difference with the tires. I'm not liking the squeaky brakes tho.

Haw! I think Handbrake might have something to say about it if I did.

My new to me 06 Wing now has 21,000mi on the ODO. I got it 4 yrs ago(this season) when it had 4,100mi.Maines riding season is somewhat short compared to many places! I had an '86 Aspencade that I bought new in '87 and sold it to a neighbor to get my '06 and it had 67,000mi on the clock and still ran like new.We still have about 3' of snow on the ground and my driveway is dirt/gravel and 1/3 mi long so waiting out the mud will take awhile this year I am afraid! And here(40 mi away) in Bangor we broke another record this morning, the coldest March on record! Nothing to crow about IMHO!!Looking forward to a warm and especially DRY spring!!

Gee! And Florida's riding season is only 11 3/4 months long. Guess I will have to go for a ride while I can. :D Darn rain :( Wow, and this is the seventh time this week that I had to ride.
