How many?

Postby littlebeaver » Tue Feb 17, 2015 10:55 am

How many of you guys have so much stuff you have to park your vehicles in your driveway instead of inside the garage... I have too much stuff... 2 motorcycles and lots of stuff,, table saws, planers, bandsaws, 2 riding mowers, and just stuff...I built a nice shed for stuff but most of that is my wifes stuff.... So the problem is we have snow and I spend lots of time clearing the snow off the vehicles or scraping ice, I feel like a goofball when all my neighbors drive their autos into their garages... I hate to put the bikes in storage....I told the wife that if I got one dollar for ever item she owned,, I'd be a millionaire....  am I the only one with this issue....?

My wife's car has to park in the driveway. It used to be my truck that got the cold shoulder, and her car spent its time cozy and warm in the garage, but the car I have now (Ford C-Max Energi) is a plug-in hybrid, so it has to plug in to charge, and the charger is in the garage, so....

At least you have stuff that it actually worth something in your garage. I've always wondered why a lot of people keep so much junk in their garage that they need to put things that are worth thousands of dollars out on the driveway.

I'm lucky in that I have a 3-bay garage. I can keep both of our cars, two motorcycles (until I get one sold), and all my shop tools nice and warm.
Every day is a good day for a bike ride. Some days are just better than others.

Every year I get organized, usually after winter,, so through the spring months and summer I'm pretty well organized but somehow by the time winter rolls around the garage is a mess again....I have a problem.... (2 car garage)... :D

There's NO SUCH THING as too many vehicles! There is, however, such a thing as too little garage space... :D

I have a double-bay, and too much of my wife's stuff is in one of the bays. I told her things need to go now. so I can use the space to work on my truck, the jetskis....or a second bike maybe??? lol.

I need another 3 bay on the property, I was thinking about it.
