what do these shock numbers mean?

Postby roadwanderer2 » Fri Feb 27, 2015 9:07 pm

can anyone tell me what these shock numbers mean?.............13679 95/140. the eBay seller states these shocks are progressive's,(shows the progressive name on the shocks), for a Yamaha, Honda, café racer, and AHRMA. they are 13" from eyelet to eyelet. they are not the super heavy duty with the double springs, they have only one spring with 5 tension presets. anyone have any ideas?

stuart.

The 95/140 part of the code is the psi range. I think the "b" on the second code you mention stands for black - i.e. they are painted black.
