Light 'er up!

Postby oilboy1162 » Sun Mar 01, 2015 10:37 am

AS i sit here on ANOTHER chilly Sunday in New Hampshire,I'm getting ready to fire up my shed heat and go out to continue my winter project installing a series of lights to "Big RED", and i was just curious. Has/does anyone else lit up (or as my wife says,"pimped up my ride) their 'wing? I go to alot of the motorcycle gatherings up this way, but have'nt really seen other wings with much in the way of show lights. She'll be quite flashy with a RAZOR 10 strip LED package, intake accents, HALO speaker grill rings, ect. hope to have puics soon, but not yet as bike is (sigh) apart.Wife came home yesterday and demanded i have our wing together by middle of may for two week vaca,as its our 10 year anniversary. So there, I'm curious to see some other "blinged out" wings.

 I know people say we spend too much money on our rides, but I can't hear them when I'm 1000 miles away!

I have a few LEDs on my 2006 Gold One. I'm sitting in upstate NY contemplating my icicles and awaiting the day I can get her on the road again.
Best wishes for your project. I put a few more pics of it up in my "Lights" gallery.

Some people do like to add a few lights to their Wings.

Wonder where he mounted the extra alternators to power all those lights? Must have been a horrible paint job as it is now all covered up so it can't be seen. Must be a light salesman.

Ghost of Christmas past! I have a friend that had his HD covered in lights like this back in the '70s that I thought it had been resurrected. It makes an awesome sight at night. Must know a good "pusher."

Think of the sucker that bumps into it and tries to tell the officer he didn't see it!

I was looking for the overload springs to handle the wire and connectors. Can you imagine trying to find a bad connection? OMG, I would leave town!
