home from the hospital

Postby roadwanderer2 » Wed Mar 04, 2015 4:11 pm

ok people, just letting everyone know that my wife and i just got home from the hospital about a 45 minutes ago. its been a long 2 days. my eye surgery went very well, I can so much better now out of BOTH eyes :D . what a difference. no more squinting, or looking thru a fog or haze. right now I answered a few postings and im gonna log off for a few hours. I need to take all four of my eye drop meds and go shut my eyes for a while to give them a rest from the drive home. the drive home was miserable, 147 miles thru nothing but rain the entire way except for the last 10 miles

i'll be back online in a few hours.

Glad the operation was a success for you.

Take the proper time to recover and take your meds as prescribed. :)

hey aussie, auction, thanks. its good to be home and to be able to see clearly again. what a difference. well, now I have to catch up on my reading which will take me a few hours. I don't want to strain my eyesight as my eye is still a little sore and I don't want to get an optical headache.

Glad to hear that you are doing well. No matter what, any surgery can be serious. I am very happy that those types of surgeries have become pretty routine and popular. A lot are done daily with very few problems. I hope you heal quickly with no problems, and come out better than ever. In the meantime, rest, and follow Dr.s orders, for some reason they seem to know what they are talking about!

I can agree with you on the burning eye drops. How many times a day do you put them in? When I had my eye surgeries, I
had to use drops 4 times a day. All turned out well, so as they say no pain... no gain..Yea right.. :)

Stuart,
Eyes down, hand to go! Then you will be right for another 100 years. Have fun now and recover well after learning to type one hand :D

Sorry I'm late to the party. Glad to hear you're doing good. You have become a jinx to me though as I was cutting a zip tie loose and stabbed the tip of my knife in my palm about 1/4" deep and my first thought was of you. Thanks a lot. :D

Wishing you a complete and speedy recovery from your surgery.
I am wrong as often as I am right concerning what is wrong with someone else' motorcycle without having seen the machine in person. Guessing with limited information, as to the source of the trouble, is sketchy at best.
